Connection to me is the feeling of listening and being heard, of feeling understood, like you're on the same frequency. It's not that we don't want to listen to each other, it's just that sometimes we don't know exactly how. This workshop is designed to fine-tune your skill of perceiving what your partner wants and hone your ability to ask for what you need without words.
Inspired by the endless quest for that "impossible" connection and the question, What is it that makes some dances so decadent? In this workshop I share the characteristics that I notice in each of those especially memorable dances - the ones that leave me yearning for more. Make your dance more elastic, more delicious, more connected. Tango is about the connection.

Private Lessons with Gabriela:
Gabriela Condrea teaches private lessons for beginning-advanced men, women, (follows, leads) and pairs and has done so all over the United States. Her focus is developing the connection, in the dance overall and in specific areas of difficulty. Gabriela's approach is holistic, seeking to shape her students' dance from the inside-out. In the more intimate setting of private instruction, she has the opportunity to address deeper issues particular to each individual or couple.
